Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using puzzlebaddie. These Terms govern use of our hosted puzzle service, including puzzles embedded on partner websites.

Definitions

Service Overview

The Service lets Partners offer jigsaw-style puzzles based on media hosted on the Partner's own website or other web-accessible locations approved for that Partner. The Service does not provide a public feature for Players or ordinary users to upload their own pictures or videos to create puzzles.

Players typically interact only with a puzzle page. Partners and Partner Users manage media source URL prefixes, player home links, team members, and other partner settings.

Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, You agree to these Terms. If You use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, You represent that You have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

Partner Accounts

Partner Users must provide accurate and current account, media source, and team information. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under Your account.

Partner account owners and administrators are responsible for maintaining authorized media source URL prefixes, player home links, team access, and any other configuration used to serve puzzles.

Partners are solely responsible for all content, media, websites, products, services, and end-user interactions associated with their use of the Service. We do not sell, host, distribute, moderate, endorse, or process payments for Partner Content, Partner websites, or Partner products and services.

Partners must comply with all applicable laws, payment network rules, age-verification requirements, intellectual property laws, privacy laws, consumer protection laws, and any industry-specific regulations that apply to their business.

Some industries and use cases require manual review before activation. We may reject, suspend, disable, or terminate accounts, partner access, integrations, or puzzle availability if We believe the Service is being misused, a security risk exists, payment or contractual obligations are not met, these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are violated, or continued service creates legal, payment-processing, security, reputational, or operational risk.

Players

Players may use puzzles without registering. Player identifiers, puzzle state, scores, settings, and similar gameplay data may be stored so the Service can operate the puzzle, save progress, provide leaderboards, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Players should understand that the media shown in a puzzle usually originates from a Partner website, not from Us. The Partner may separately collect information when You visit or return to that Partner website.

Partner Content and Media

Partners remain responsible for Partner Content. Partners represent and warrant that they have all rights, licenses, permissions, and legal authority needed for media and pages used with the Service.

Partners must not use the Service with content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, abusive, non-consensual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful. Partners are responsible for age-gating, age verification, consent management, user notices, content rights, takedown handling, and other obligations that apply to their content, websites, products, services, and users.

We may disable puzzle access to Partner Content if We receive a credible complaint, detect abuse, or determine that continued access creates legal, security, operational, payment-processing, or reputational risk.

By configuring media URLs, media source URL prefixes, or other Partner Content for use with the Service, Partners grant Us the limited rights needed to fetch, process, display, transform, cache, and otherwise use that content solely to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any activity prohibited by Our Acceptable Use Policy, including to:

Account Deletion

Partner Users may request deletion of their account from the account menu. If the requesting user is the owner of a Partner account, deletion may also delete the whole Partner account, including team member records and media source data, after the stated waiting period unless the request is cancelled. If the requesting user is only a team member, deletion removes that user record and does not delete the Partner account.

A Player identity may be removed for a specific Partner from the puzzle page or by Partner request. Removal replaces the Partner-scoped player identifier with a non-identifying value. Anonymized gameplay history may remain in the Service and may be shown as "Anonymous" in leaderboards, reports, and similar views.

Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If You believe content made available through the Service infringes a copyright, contact our copyright agent at compliance@tarpatch.com with enough information for Us to identify the material, the Partner website or puzzle URL, Your contact information, and the basis for Your claim.

Upon receipt of a proper notice, We may disable access to the challenged puzzle, notify the affected Partner, and take other action We consider appropriate.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may link to Partner websites or other third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or terms.

Legal Notices: Licenses, Attributions and Acknowledgments

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every website, browser, media format, or device.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or claims related to Partner Content or third-party websites. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount You paid Us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 USD if You paid nothing.

Governing Law

All claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be governed by California law, except California's conflict of laws rules, and will be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts of San Diego County, California, USA.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means You accept the revised Terms.
